As we head into this Monday evening across Gloucestershire, our weather pattern is seeing a slight split across the county with varying cloud cover. If you're heading out tonight, here is how the conditions are shaping up across our local areas according to the latest Met Office reports:

🌲 The Forest of Dean & Western Districts

For areas like Coleford, Cinderford, and the western ridges, we are seeing skies turn largely cloudy through this evening and overnight. The cloud cover may thicken enough over higher ground to bring a little patchy light drizzle, all while winds remain light.

🏙️ Central Severn Vale & Gloucester

Across Gloucester and the central Severn Vale, conditions are holding mostly dry. Expect a comfortable mix of variable cloud cover and occasional clear breaks as the evening progresses, keeping things completely calm under light winds.

🌄 The Cotswolds & Eastern Higher Ground

Higher ground across the Cotswolds and eastern parts of the county will experience dry conditions tonight with clear spells developing in places. While a few patches of cloud may drift through at times, it remains a quiet and settled night with light winds throughout.

📊 Summary

General Trend: Mostly cloudy in the west with some light drizzle; clearer and drier further east.

Wind: Light across all districts.

Outlook: Settled conditions continuing as we look ahead to the rest of the week.

Stay tuned to the Gloucestershire Weather HUB for more daily updates and our upcoming October macro outlook!
